Hi there, friend.
Thank you for stopping by CNTRD Prints. It feels as though this is the first true season of our Lord’s purpose for my own life here on Earth. Through the raw, unusual, and tangible form of film photography – with the gift that our Lord has so generously given me – I intend to capture the beauty in both the complexities and the simplicities of the Gift of Life itself. I want nothing more than to bring the Light of the world into your home through His personal creations, by actively capturing the world around us, as is, in all of its beauty and wonder in its entirety. How the light falls, and how the wind blows, the beautiful sunsets and sunrises Jesus paints each day, each leaf that falls, every flower that blooms, every blade of grass, and the peacefulness we can find the stillness and the calm that reassures us that He is here. Humans unknowingly create chaos when we desire anything but His plan for our lives, the reason He created us. I believe wholeheartedly that our Creator only creates peace, love, and all that is good in our world today. I will capture these things for nothing else, but His glory, for all the days of my life.
Our mighty God created our legitimately immeasurable universe. The beautiful world we live on which is perfectly placed, floating in space, and every living being in it. As humans, we naturally get lost in this world with the issues around us, and the hurt we’ve experienced, but He never loses sight of us. He never leaves you, not even in your darkest days. He pulled me out of a deep depression this past Spring. I was filled with hopelessness, extreme anxiety, shame, self-hatred, anger, and complete exhaustion, just to name a few. But now I am joyful. Hopeful, loving, worthy, enough, and thankful. I just had to ask for help. I also want to make a point that throughout all of this, my Husband has been the most supportive, loving, compassionate, hard-working, and patient man who has stuck by me and loved me through it all. I am incredibly thankful, and honored to be where I am today, and that I get to do life daily with my QT, Grayson, as his wife. I’m incredibly grateful for my friends & family who have helped me in these trials as well, thank you for pushing me to be a better me. God is so good, all the time.
Regardless of what you believe, or where you’re at in your own journey, I hope that my prints speak to you in a way that the world – that we often get lost in – hasn’t yet. I only wish you love, joy, and peacefulness in the midst of the hurt, in the waiting, and in the trials we have and will face in this lifetime. No one said it would be easy, but I know it is more than worth it. I would be honored for my prints to be on the walls in your home. I pray they might help to bring you blessings of peace, joy, and a hope for your future. I hope you enjoy the incredible work our Lord & Savior has created for us to enjoy together. I’m just a vessel to help us remember.
