about CNTRD
Hi! If you don’t already know me, my name is Rachel Foster! I live in East Nashville, TN with my sweet Husband, Grayson and our beautiful cat, Lola. My love for photography started in high school but I didn’t pick up a camera until my senior year in 2012. My love for ceramics began in middle school yet I didn’t start throwing until 2022. ……….
in 2021, I felt the Lord literally tugging on my heart in a supernatural encounter with Him. He was calling me back to Him, calling me back to re-center my life around Him & His love, while using the gifts He gave me. Growing up, I never found the goodness in landscape photography, or ceramics but now all I see is God’s beautiful creations in absolutely everything. I strive daily to capture His creations, whether that’s mountain scapes, deserts, bodies of water, the forrest, people, wildlife, or handmade work. My heart’s desire is to bring these creations into your home, to add a sense of division from our all-consuming daily lives, and for you feel a sense of peacefulness when you gaze upon His detailed masterpieces.
I pray these prints remind you every time you see them that there is so much more goodness in this dark world, and that you recognize where that goodness comes from. I pray for blessings upon your homes and your families as these photographs hang on your walls, and utilizes these ceramic pieces as well. I pray that you’d know how you are the most important creation to Jesus when you notice how beautifully detailed and intricately designed these soul-less landscapes are. Cntrd was created to bring light to how the Lord wants you to view yourself through His eyes. Beauty is in the eye of our Creator. Regardless of how we see ourselves, on good or bad days, He sees and loves us for who we truly are, right where we are, and for exactly who He created us to be. I want you to know that you are God’s most beautiful, loved, and important creation. These prints and pieces are solely to remind you that you alone are that much more valuable to Jesus, every single time you see them on your walls or with your coffee in it, my hope is that your home and souls fill with hope and peace.
All the glory to God. I’m just honored to be here to capture & create it for you :)
